SouthScape Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how SouthScape collects, uses, stores, and protects information for business users, partner users, agents, destination admins, and end-customer records processed through partner operations on the Platform.

2. Data We Collect

• Business and account profile data (name, business name, email, phone, address, GST and onboarding details where applicable)
• Partner user and team-access data (role flags, login activity, consent records, and account security metadata)
• Partner customer and booking-operation data entered on the Platform (traveler or contact details, itinerary details, ticket references, and transaction references)
• Technical data (IP address, device and browser metadata, logs, and performance telemetry)
• Payment reference data required for reconciliation (SouthScape does not store full card or net-banking credentials)

3. How We Use Data

• Onboarding, account provisioning, authentication, and access control
• Operating booking, availability, ticketing, analytics, and communication workflows
• Providing customer and partner support, issue diagnosis, and fraud or abuse monitoring
• Meeting legal, taxation, compliance, and audit requirements including policy consent records

4. Security and Safeguards

SouthScape stores partner user data and partner customer data using reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, following best-effort security guidelines and operational controls.

No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security, but we continuously improve controls to reduce risk.

5. Partner Responsibility for Customer Data

Partners are independently responsible for how they collect, disclose, use, export, and retain customer data outside or beyond SouthScape workflows.

Partners must handle customer data lawfully, maintain privacy notices and consents where required, and implement their own security controls. Liability for partner-side misuse, over-retention, unauthorized sharing, or non-compliance remains with the partner and not SouthScape.

6. Data Sharing

We may share limited data with infrastructure providers, communication providers, payment processors, and compliance advisors strictly for operating the Platform and fulfilling legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data.

7. Data Retention

Data is retained based on operational necessity, contractual obligations, dispute handling needs, and legal or tax requirements.

8. User Rights

Eligible users may request access, correction, or deletion, subject to legal and contractual retention duties.
